The Banuels - India

Dear Pastor and Friends,
Greetings to you in our Lords Sweet name.
Summer is over!  Vacation Bible School is over!  And now, school is starting back!  There are never any breaks in the ministry of our Lord.
I am so blessed to report to you about our two-month VBS program.  We averaged 209 children in each church, which means that over 93,000 children attended VBS in all of our churches.  The best news of all is 17,600 children were saved!  The sad news is we only had 9575 Bibles to give out.  We desperately want to give all these other children their very own Bible so please help us with this need if you possibly can.  The cost of a Bible is $3.00.  We have told the other 8,025 children who did not receive Bibles that we would get them one as soon as possible.
In our other ministries we had 965 saved during the month of May and we baptized 127.
School reopened on June 2nd.  Our school had one of our best years in government grading and we are now the number one rated school in our area.  Because of this good rating, there are many more students trying to attend.  Our enrollment will continue until June 15th, and based on the way it is going now, we could have over 1000 students this year.  This creates even greater needs in our school, especially in supporting students who cannot pay their tuition.  As I have told you in the past, I will never turn a child down if they do not have the tuition money because I know this may be their only chance to hear about Jesus and His saving grace for them.  If you helped a student in the past or if you are willing to help a student this year, please contact Sister Rita.  We will be mailing pictures of the students to her and she will send you information and pictures if you can help us.  The cost is $65. That pays the tuition for the entire year for one student.  Sister Rita’s email address is: indiawitness@aol.com. Please type “student” in the subject box of your email to her.
All of our other ministries are going well.  We just ask for your continued prayers for us.  This has always been a ministry of faith and I know our Lord will provide.
Before closing, I want to especially thank all of you for your earnest prayers for my baby daughter, Blessy Litta.  She has passed all her tests and will be starting college in September.  We also received a very special blessing from God by getting her into the same college our daughter Brenda is attending which is near our home.
Thank you so much for being a part of our work in India.  You are a great blessing in my life and in the lives of my family and all my people.

Because of Him,
  Justus Banuel
