Dear Pastor & Friends,

Exciting Three Months!

It has been an exciting and wonderful three months since we last wrote you. Since Navi came back from the USA on furlough we had the South Pacific Baptist College Graduation, Graduation for our Liberty Baptist Christian Academy, our Annual Missions Conference, the Watch Night Service and the Opening Services of our ministries here last week.

South Pacific Baptist College - We graduated two graduates this last November. They were both from the Pacific Islands of Vanuatu. We count it a privilege that we are reproducing ourselves here in the Islands! This year we will be graduating three young men, two of whom are from our church here at Liberty Baptist Church of Ba, Fiji Islands and the third young men, who is from Port Moresby, PNG. This last week we were privileged to have had Pastor Donny Wilson and his wife come over from Lighthouse Baptist Church, California to open our Semester. He did a tremendous job  teaching an Intensive Course and preaching for our Opening Revival Services at night. His wife drew a beautiful mural on one of our fellowship wall by our dining & kitchen. This is the highest enrollment of college students that has ever enrolled since we started the college back in 2001. We now have 24 students in Bible College. Your prayers are coveted especially with these many students now. 90% of our students are on a Work Scholarship program. They pay their way through college by working in the church, college ministries and in the college farm.

Liberty Baptist Christian Academy – Our enrollment for our School has also increased. We have 20 students in our school at this time. Please pray for the running of the school that God will provide the daily operational needs. A lot goes on, on a daily basis here on the campus of the ministry of Liberty Baptist Church of Ba. Our kitchen staff feeds around 50 people on a daily basis on campus. It is costing us more now then ever before in operational costs.

Liberty Baptist Church – Last week our church hosted “Operation 10,000 Prayer Breakfast.” Over 55 people showed up for the breakfast and then we were challenged by Pastor Donny Wilson on Soulwinning. Then the whole 55 people went out and knocked on over 10,000 homes here in Ba. We had visitors the following Sunday and over 7 people walked the isle to get save. We praise the Lord for his work. Please pray for these souls that got saved and the good prospects, so that we can follow up on them. We have restarted our van pickup ministry again on the first Sunday of January this year. It is getting expensive but as we keep “The Main Thing, The Main Thing!” we know that God will provide for the needs of this ministry.

15 Acres Property – By God’s grace we have been able to make a down payment for the property we have been trying to get. This property is needful for our farm for our college students. Some of you have helped some. We Thank you for your gift. However we still need to raise $45,000 for it. Please if you can help with this project please do so, as it will play an important part in the training of our future preachers and wives here in the islands!
