Bro. Goette was born and raised in Mason City, Iowa, and married his wife, Karin in 1971 at the age of eighteen. They have been blessed with four children and at present, six grandchildren. Bro. Goette accepted the Lord into his heart at the age of twenty. From that moment on, life has had new purpose and meaning. In 1981, he graduated from Fairfax Baptist Temple Bible Institute and remained there for one year as the bus director, before starting deputation as missionaries to the Philippines, where they ministered for several years. Since 1994, they have been in Vancouver, Canada.
